Hi, I’m Lisa.

I'm a Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with youth, parents, and families - from substance use counselling and parent groups to clinical supervision and operations leadership. I'm Circle of Security trained and work from a trauma-informed, attachment lens, which is therapist-speak for I'm interested in what's happening underneath behaviour, not just what’s seen on the surface.

I'm also a parent to a spirited 10-year-old who keeps me humble (and occasionally hiding in the bathroom for three minutes of peace).

My Approach

You already have what you need - sometimes it just takes a different perspective to see it. I help folks understand the patterns driving distress, develop more compassion for themselves and their people, and find paths forward that actually work for their specific, messy, real lives.

My style is warm, genuine, and direct with an undercurrent of humour. I give straight feedback when needed and will absolutely ask you to tell me when I've lost you so I can adjust. This is collaborative work - you know your life best, I'm just here to help you see it from various angles and ensure you leave therapy feeling like it was an invaluable use of your time!.

What Guides My Work

  • Authenticity - I show up as my quirky self and I invite you to do the same.

  • Compassion - For yourself, your people, and the messy process of growth.

  • Curiosity - About what's underneath, what's possible, and what you already know.

  • Collaboration - This is your journey; I'm here to help you gain new perspective and hope as you move forward.

  • Community - No one can do this alone - we all need and deserve to belong. .

  • Practicality - Real strategies for real life, Designed with and for you.
